I would like to start off this post by apologizing for my long hiatus from blogging. Two years ago, I attempted to take on the world of online diabetes, now known as the Diabetic Online Community or DOC. Life became a little tangled in parenting, schooling and most recently, a second diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes for our oldest daughter.
Our life has once again, resumed a "normality" that comes with acceptance and persistence of T1D. While I still do not have any major revelations of what makes us continue on despite major roadblocks, I do now know that there are many, many families just like ours that deal with the same situation. My hope is to be able to connect with those families and share stories of grace, courage and never ending hope.
